Who am I?

b. 1986, HK.

I'm a writer & editor, and I live in Mexico City.

I'm the founder of Mildew, an annual print magazine about secondhand fashion, and the deputy editor of Broccoli, Catnip, and Mushroom People.

I was a co-founder of Neuro Fuzzy Press, and a contributing editor to The Changing TimesTokyo issue.

My favorite kind of word puzzle is Spanish-to-English translation — most recently in art books for Temblores Publicaciones and Creative Voyage.

The most fun thing I’ve worked on lately involved listening to seashells. Please ask me for help with copywriting on your freakiest projects.

My writing on culture, history, and the arts has been published in New York Magazine, The Nation, Atlas Obscura, Lenny Letter, Refinery29, Roads & Kingdoms, i-D, Travel Portland, Perfect Strangers, The Portland MercuryVirgin Australia, Hemispheres, and other publications.
